Answer: We utilize powerful, 12,000 BTU portable units that sit entirely inside on the floor rather than traditional, heavy window boxes. They feature an elegant, upright design on wheels, meaning they don't block your entire view or require brackets hanging outside your home. We simply run a sleek, sealed exhaust hose to a nearby window to vent the warm air out.
Answer: Our professional installation setups are designed for standard sliding windows that open along a single flat plane (either sliding vertically up-and-down, or horizontally side-to-side). Because our custom weather-sealed window kits require a flat tracking channel, we cannot install units in crank-out or awning-style windows. If you are unsure if your windows qualify, just let us know when booking!
